For Technician Apprentice – Mechanical:
3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from recognized Institute/University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
For Technician Apprentice – Electrical:
3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institute/University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
For Technician Apprentice – Instrumentation:
3 years Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized Institute/University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.
For Technician Apprentice – Civil:
3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Institute/University with minimum 50 % marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates & 45% in case of SC/ST candidates against reserved positions.

For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice):
Class XII (10+2) or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Board/Institute.
For Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):
Class XII (10+2) or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates for reserved positions from a recognized Board / Institute.

IOCL Apprentice Salary
IOCL Apprentice Salary is as following.
Stipend: Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.
Company Accommodation / HRA: No HRA or Company’s accommodation shall be provided to Apprentices.
Insurance Coverage: Apprentices shall be covered under suitable Accident Insurance Coverage.
IOCL Apprenticeship Training Period Details
12 Months for all disciplines except.
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator(Fresher Apprentices) & Trade Apprentice –Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders) will be having 15 Months training
How to Apply for NCL Apprentice Online Form 2020
- Interested candidates are advised to fill the application form through the link provided below in the Important link section or from the official website of IOCL between 23rd November to 19th December 2020.
- Must read the official notification before apply online.
- Keep all the related details and documents Such as Email ID, Mobile Number, DOB, Scanned Passport Size Photo, scanned Specimen Signature, Proof of Identity (PI), Proof of Address (PA).
- Keep all scanned documents related to the Online Application Form.
- Candidates are advised to fill the Online Form step by step carefully and do a review of the complete filled form before going to SUBMIT the Form.
- Take Print out of the complete form after Payment of Registration Fee Successfully.
- Last but not least, Keep User ID & Password secret and remembered till completion of this Recruitment.
How to Download IOCL Apprentice Admit Card & Call Letter
- Click on the Download Admit Card Link in the below Important Link Section of this Article Between 22nd December 2020 to 3rd January 2021.
- The candidate’s Login page will appear.
- Candidates need to fill the Application No / Registration No / Roll No, Date of Birth (DOB) and Password.
- Click on the SUBMIT button.
- After a successful Login, Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
- Click on the Download / Print Admit Card button.
- Take Print out of Admit Card and keep it yourself for future purposes.
- Candidate can also download their Admit Card From the official website of IOCL.

IOCL Apprentice Selection Process
> Written Test
> Minimum Physical Fitness Standard
> Documents Verification
IOCL Apprentice Selection shall be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test (Duration 90 Minutes) and meeting notified eligibility criteria.
Candidates selected as apprentices will have to fulfill the minimum physical fitness standard / parameters as specified in the Apprentice Act and amendments / modification issued from time to time. Only those candidates declared fit in pre-engagement medical and physical fitness shall be considered for engaging as apprentice.
IOCL Apprentice Result 2020
The IOCl Apprentice Result will be declare after Online Test which will be conducted on 3rd January 2021
IOCL Apprentice Exam Pattern
The Written Test will comprise of 100 questions with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four option with one correct option.
The questions would be in bilingual i.e. English & Hindi.
The candidates will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in written test to qualify for selection process. The minimum qualifying marks shall be 35% for candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwBD categories against reserved positions.

The written test will assess the candidates on the following parameters:-
Trade Apprentice Accountant
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 30 Marks
- Reasoning Abilities – 30 Marks
- Basic English Language Skills – 40 Marks
Trade Apprentice -Data Entry Operator (Fresher & Skill Certificate Holder)
- General Aptitude and Reasoning Abilities – 25 Marks
- Basic English Language Skills – 25 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Marks
- General Awareness – 25 Marks
Trade Apprentice (Fitter / Electrician / Electronics Mechanic / Instrument Mechanic / Machinist) & Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civi / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics):
- Technical Acumen in relevant discipline – 40 Marks
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 20 Marks
- Reasoning Abilities – 20 Marks Basic
- English Language Skills – 20 Marks
